Igor Tomovski

Igor Tomovski is a research collaborator (junior research scientist) in the Research Center for Energy, Informatics and Materials of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He holds BSc, MSc and PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, “Ss Cyril and Methodius” University - Skopje.

Igor started his professional career in 1999 as an engineer in the Dynamic testing laboratory of the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology, “Ss Cyril and Methodius” University - Skopje. In June 2006 he transferred to Macedonian Telecommunications, where he worked as a key account manager in the Key Account Business Center. In May 2007 he joined the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, first as a junior research assistant, then as a research assistant and from May 2013 as a research collaborator in the Research Center for Energy, Informatics and Materials.

His research interests include complex dynamical systems, complex networks and computational neuroscience. Igor’s current research is primarily focused on spreading processes occurring on complex networks.
